Starting July 15, 2024, Ilka Sauer will represent Friedrichs & Partner in Northern Germany and enrich our team with her extensive expertise in HR and Talent Acquisition.
Ilka Sauer completed a degree with a focus on Human Resources after her commercial training and built her career in the field of Human Resources. Marketing, communication, advertising, media, market research, and event marketing have been a common thread throughout her professional development.
Her most defining professional roles as Director of Human Resources were in the gaming industry (VIVA Media), at Uniplan International, BBDO Proximity (Omnicom Group), Ipsos (Ipsos SA), and Mediabrands (Interpublic Group). Her responsibilities included filling executive and leadership positions and optimizing talent strategies. Ilka Sauer brings over 25 years of expertise in these areas.
Having previously managed executive and lead recruiting from a company perspective, Ilka Sauer understands clients' requirements firsthand. She knows exactly what sets truly excellent HR consultancies apart and, above all, how crucial the right fit is (especially for leadership roles).
Ilka Sauer describes herself as an empathetic, motivating, and passionate HR professional and sparring partner with a pragmatic, hands-on mentality. She values being a link between the organization, leadership, and employees in her professional life—ideal qualities for her future role as an HR consultant.
In addition, she is passionate about supporting young professionals (especially Generation Z) through voluntary coaching and mentoring. Outside of work, she enjoys learning about people, their career paths, and different cultures. She loves to travel and spend time in nature to recharge.
Ilka Sauer will not only represent Friedrichs & Partner regionally in Northern Germany. Her extensive experience in marketing, advertising, media, services, and consumer goods will also enhance the competency spectrum of Friedrichs & Partner across Germany and internationally as part of the Kestria network.
