Changes in the North - at Friedrichs & Partner

 

As of July 15, 2024, Ilka Sauer will represent Friedrichs & Partner in Northern Germany, bringing her broad expertise in HR and Talent Acquisition to our team.

 

After completing a commercial education, Ilka Sauer pursued a degree in Human Resources Management and has built her career in the field of Human Resources. Marketing, communication, advertising, media, market research, and event marketing have been the common thread throughout her professional journey.

 

Her career as Human Resources Director include positions in the gaming industry (VIVA Media) and with Uniplan International, BBDO Proximity (Omnicom Group), Ipsos (Ipsos SA), and Mediabrands (Interpublic Group).

 

Her responsibilities included filling executive and leadership positions and optimizing the talent strategy.

 

Having previously monitored and completed executive hirings from the corporate perspective, she understands customer requirements firsthand. She knows precisely what distinguishes truly excellent executive search firms from the rest, particularly when it comes to the right fit for leadership positions.

 

Ilka Sauer describes herself as an empathetic, motivating, and passionate HR professional and sparring partner with pragmatism and a hands-on mentality. She loves bridging between the organization, executives, and employees - prefect skills for her future role as executive search consultant.

 

Moreover, she is dedicated to supporting young professionals (especially Generation Z) through coaching and mentoring. Aside from her professional pursuits, Ilka Sauer is genuinely passionate about people, their life stories, and various cultures. She enjoys traveling and spending time in nature to recharge.

 

Ilka Sauer will not only represent Friedrichs & Partner regionally in Northern Germany. Her extensive experience in marketing, advertising, media, services, and consumer goods will also enhance Friedrichs & Partner's expertise in Germany and internationally in the Kestria alliance (www.kestria.com).

Ilka Sauer succeeds Susanne Wagner, who has represented Friedrichs & Partner in Northern Germany since 2018.
